Filter Housing for Point of Entry.
Product Description
The big blue filter housing is used at point of entry to a house or food service. If used with sediment cartridge 4.5"x20", it will remove dirt, sand and rust.
You are buying a heavy duty reinforced FDA grade polypropylene housing 7" dia x 23" length. The filter has 1" port in the heavy duty blue housing so it connects to 1" water pipe NPT. Fitted with Pressure relief /bleed button on inlet side of cap. You press before you change the sediment cartridge.
You need to buy sediment cartridge seperately. We recommend you install SF-BB2005, a 5 miron sediment filtration cartridge 4.5"dia x 20" long. See Item SF-BB2005-3PS. The wrench needed to open this housig for replacing the cartridge inside is WR-20BB.
