2.75" dia x 9.875" L, 10-micron CTO Cartridge
Product Overview
This is a 2.75"x9.875" Carbon Block(CB) water filter cartridge by Siam Cast Nylon Co. The CB cartridge is also known as CTO cartridge, because it removes chlorine (C), taste (T) and odor (O). It will also remove organic matter from water by adsorption.
The 10-micron cartridge will also remove sediments and suspended matter larger than 10 microns. This filtration takes place without channeling, fluidizing, bypassing or release of carbon fines.
Carbon used is 100% from coconut shell. The manufacturer is certified for ISO 9001:2000 Standard and the product is certified for NSF standard 42.
This cartridge is used as a second stage in the 100 GPD Reverse Osmosis system. It is also used in the 3-stage undersink filter system.
Flow in this cartridge is radial and flow rate in the filter should not exceed 1 gpm for optimal performance. Replace the cartridge every 3000 gallons or once year.
