Finally an element that turns an RO system into a spring water source
Product Description
An alkaline filter that is 2.5 inch in outside diameter and 12" in length. The housing is similar to an RO housing and it has similar life (change every 2 years).
By adding this filter, you turn your existing reverse osmosis system into a machine that produces spring water with alkaline and antioxidant qualities.
This alkaline antioxidant filter is typically added after the RO membrane and before the last GAC post filter. This filter will increase the pH of the filtered water typically to between 8.5 and 9.5 and will add beneficial minerals such as potassium, magnesium and calcium.
The alkaline filter has the following media: neodymium magnate, quartz, calCor, tourmaline, negative ions, Pi-Water, super ceramic, almandine garnet and KDF55 in addition to pads at entrance and exit of the filter. That is 11 stage inline filter that can be accurately described as natural alkalizer/ionizer/mineralizer/oxidizer!
This filter is Stage 5 in ERO-650-ALK. Included with this filter are: Two (2) 1/4" FTP Fittings (Item: AMC0404W) to connect this filter to your RO system and two 2.5"x2.5" double clip (Item: CL-222-T).
