Product Overview
This is a 2.75"x9.875" Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) water filter cartridge by PUROFLO. GAC will reduce (by adsorption) chlorine, odor and organic matter from water.
This cartridge is used as a second stage in the 50 GPD Reverse Osmosis system . It is also used in the 3-stage undersink filter system.
Flow in this cartridge is coaxial, not radial. The flow capacity in this standard size cartridge is 1 gpm. This is reasonable in point of use water units.
