This Bes RO-3.0G tank is a plastic bladder tank used mainly for the residential Reverse osmosis system. It is made by Yuyao City Dayin Town Zhenhua Hardware (BesTankInternational.com) from steel shell lined with food-grade plastic PP. It has an FDC approved Food grade Butyl bladder inside. It comes pre-charged with 6 psi of air pressure. When the tank is full, pressure may reach 45 to 50 psi (max 100 psi) depending on your RO system. The water inlet is 1/4" MPT with stainless steel thread. The tank can be re-pressurized using an air pump through the air valve. A tank ball valve (not included; buy it separately) makes the connection with 1/4" tubing possible. The tank will accumulate water (1.7 gallon-2.6 gallons) and provide pressure at the dispensing faucet. The bladder inside the tank will keep the purified water under pressure from the compressed air on the other side of the bladder.

In the pressure tank, a butyl diaphragm separates the water and air chambers. These materials limit the growth of germs and prevent impurities inside the tank. Diaphragm-type design assures stable water outflow. Metal shell (with Polypropylene liner) has greater pressure holding capacity than plastic alone.
Why using the RO tank?
During the usage of an RO system, water goes slowly through a reverse osmosis membrane. Most people don’t have the patience to take a lot of time to get a cup of water when a tank is not connected. The tank provided this instant water. To provide more instant RO water, use a larger tank, or connect several tanks together. When there is a demand for water, the water is pushed out of the tank by air pressure and the RO tanks can deliver stable and constant water flow when the faucet is opened.
