PUREGEN 3 Stage Water Filter System

This three-stage filter system can be neatly installed under the sink. The three filtration stages are as follows:

1st Stage: 5-Micron 10" Polyspun Sediment Filter Cartridge 2.5x10" (replace every 12 months); removes dirt, suspended particles, and rust.

2nd Stage: Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Filter Cartridge 2.5x10"(replace every 12 months); takes out most of the chlorine and organic matter.

3rd Stage: 10-micron Carbon Block Filter Cartridge 2.5x10"(replace every 12 months); removes residual chlorine and VOC.

This system comes complete with an installation pack, color-coded tubing, and filtration cartridges. It comes with a lead-free TouchFlo gooseneck faucet with chrome finish. The installation pack includes a feed water valve, inserts, and screws in addition to the installation manual.

Once the water has been filtered, desirable minerals like magnesium, calcium, potassium are left behind in the water. If you have specific contaminants that you want to remove from water then you can buy a Specialty Filter Cartridge and install it as Stage 2. For example, if nitrate is the contaminant of concern, then buy a Nitrate Removal Filter Cartridge to remove nitrate from water.  Please note that a reverse osmosis system will remove all contaminants from water.
