This is a 2.5"x9.875" Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) water filter cartridge. GAC will reduce (by adsorption) chlorine, odor, and organic matter from water.
This cartridge is used in the RO5-50 and in the 3-stage under sink filter system FS3.
Flow in this cartridge is coaxial, not radial. The flow capacity in this standard size cartridge is 1 GPM. This is reasonable in point of use water units.
Replace the cartridge with the other cartridges in the same system every 6-12 months.
