HiDROTEK 5 Stage Quick Change Reverse Osmosis Water System 49 GPD

Please read carefully and understand the space requirements.  The Quick Change Reverse Osmosis (RO) water system by HiDROTEK provides clean and fresh drinking water. The self-encapsulated Bayonet filters and membrane elements are removed and replaced with a simple 1/4 turn, while the internal valve shuts off the flow automatically when the cartridge is removed. The replacement procedure is easy and sanitary.

When replacing the membrane element (Bayonet style), there is no need to disconnect tubing. Having all cartridges mounted on the bracket as in this system makes the filter replacement process easy and convenient. The system has Quick-Connect fittings making the installation process an easy one. The Bayonet filters have valves built into the heads to prevent backflow. With the built-in auto shut-offs, there is no need to turn off the water supply prior to maintenance. The RO system is equipped with an automatic shut-off valve to eliminate waste by closing the feed line when the tank is full.

The RO Module consists of five stages complete with filters and an RO membrane. The quick-change system needs no tools (e.g., wrench) to change the disposable filters and no electricity is needed for the operation.

The five stages of filtration are as follows:

1st Stage: 5-micron Sediment Filter PP-10F (replace every 12 months). This filter removes sand, silt, clay, dirt, and rust, protecting and increasing the service life of the remaining filters.

2nd Stage: Granular Activated Carbon Filter GAC-10F (replace every 12 months). This filter takes out most of the chlorine and reduces taste and odors and removes organic matter.

3rd Stage: 10-micron Carbon Block Filter CTO-10F (replace every 12 months). This carbon block filter is made of high quality activated carbon. It reduces chlorine taste and odors and it conditions the water before being treated by the reverse osmosis membrane.

4th Stage: 50 GPD TFC RO Membrane Element RO-10F (replace every 24 months). This membrane filter removes contaminants and up to 96% of dissolved solids.

5th Stage: 10 microns Post Carbon Polishing Filter T33-10F (replace every 12 months). This filter provides the final polishing of water after the storage tank.

The System comes with lead-free modern faucet with chrome finish, 3.0-gallon PLASTIC tank, color-coded tubing, and an installation pack. The installation pack includes tank ball valve, feed water valve, drain saddle, inserts, and tubing in addition to the installation manual.

The purchase of this product also comes with a one-year limited warranty on all parts.

Reverse osmosis, a membrane-technology separation method, together with carbon adsorption (in pre and post-filters) will remove most contaminants from water.  The system can be easily installed under the sink or mounted on the Wall.  Most places will meet major requirements for installing an RO system.
