This digital TDS pocket tester by HM Digital is used for the measurement of Total Dissolved Solids or TDS (mg/L) in water. The TDS reading of water in a cup collected from the RO faucet will allow you to monitor the RO membrane performance and the TDS of your tap water for comparison. If product water reads high TDS (compared to values of a new membrane), this means the RO membrane stopped working and it is time to change it.
