This pressure limiting valve has built-in 1/4" Quick-Connect (QC) fittings and it is designed to limit pressure to 70 PSI. The valve connects easily in-line with your existing 1/4" water tube, thus making it perfect for reverse osmosis systems and other filtration systems. It can also be installed on the line feeding the fridge, or ice makers, and coffee machines.
If your pressure is already high (e.g., above 90 psi), or if your fridge/filter is not used for periods of time (where the water pressure can rise over a period of non-usage), then this valve is needed for protection against leaks caused by overpressure.
This valve can handle a max incoming pressure of 300 psi.
